“I wonder if he’s called ‘Principe Muerte’ because he’s to die for,” I told my friend Greta as I showed her a video of a man wearing a suit and black and white clown makeup doing tricks by sliding. It seemed as if he was a scare actor who used his abilities to slide and catch people off guard to scare them but I couldn’t stop watching him do it.
“You shouldn’t be saying things like that, Mads.” She gave me my phone back and I rolled my eyes.
“And why?” I asked her as I kept looking if he had posted anything new.
“Because of Jeremiah, your boyfriend. You shouldn’t be looking at other guys like that and even less making those kinds of comments,” she said and I leaned against the wall.
“What does that have to do with him? It’s just some videos and it was just a compliment that I didn’t even say it to this guy. Like, he literally doesn’t know I exist,” I said and I looked at her. She played with her pale blonde hair.
“You still shouldn’t be having those thoughts. Jeremiah should be the only man in your life. Especially when it comes to Jeremiah. It’s probably something immoral to him,” she said referring to Jeremiah’s beliefs she somewhat shared with him.
“Ugh, it’s always morals. Come on, Greta. It’s just something fun. Besides, he probably does way worse things than that.” I checked my watch to see if it was time for my class. Not yet.
“Ew, no. He doesn’t even look like that type of person. He’s serious.”
“There’s always something more beneath the surface,” I said as I pretended to hide behind my hands and pop out before laughing.
“Mads.”
“What? I’m just joking. He’s actually a saint and I’m just a lost soul that wants to corrupt him,” I said and I briefly looked away to see the people walking by.
“I’m not saying that either.”
“But you’re being a cry baby just because I called a hot guy hot. You know we’re almost twenty two, right?”
“I’m just saying that it’s inappropriate,” she said and I gave up on the conversation.
“Sure. I apologize then,” I said uninterested.
“You should apologize to Jeremiah, not me.” She was sweet but sometimes she’d overreact to silly things.
“Yeah whatever, Greta.” I said and she checked her phone.
“Oh darn. I need to get to class. You’re still joining us tonight for our weekly meet up, right? I mean, of course you will because of your boyfriend and stuff.” She referred to the college ministry Jeremiah took me to where I also met Greta. I rarely missed a meeting since he took me there.
“Yeah. I sure am,” I said and she left. I still had half an hour until my last class which means I was going to just be wandering around for a bit.
While I waited for class I sent my roommate Mia the video I showed Greta earlier. She actually enjoyed watching stuff like that and it’s part of how we met. We’re always sending each other random things and drool over guys online. That’s if we’re not crashing out, which happens from time to time.
Mia: omg girl i just died watching that
Madeleine: same. i need him in my life (sorry jeremiah) ;)
Mia: no comment
Madeleine: better than what greta said tbh
Mia: you sent this to her too???
Madeleine: i showed it to her while she waited for her class. i want to bond with her outside of our weekly meetings but it’s hard
Mia: sorry girl
I looked at the time and I only had ten minutes left until my class started so I made my way to class. On my way to class I saw a guy I tried to date during my freshman year and I just waved at him as if we were still friends. We were classmates and he caught my eye because he looked like a knock off version of the guys I’d watch online. He had some concerning beliefs which I think is what made him get away from me. By that I mean he unfollowed me without removing me from his followers as if I was his fan. Principe Muerte was the only guy I followed that didn’t follow me back and he wasn’t going to be an exception. I was still put off by the situation as well as just normal college freshman struggles I guess. That’s when I started following around my classmate Jeremiah in the spring semester until we started dating by the end of the semester.
I got to class and sat down in class all the way in the back of the classroom. I didn’t really talk to any of my classmates since I mostly just went to class, did whatever class activity I needed to complete, and then I just left. For that reason I was just on my phone until class started. I was looking at Principe’s new video again and I finally left a comment. This is not the first time I’ve done it but he has never interacted with any of them. I mostly just did it for other fans that would like and reply to my silly comments. He looked so sneaky and mysterious in the video which is how I came up with my comment.
mads.is.glad: steal me please. take me away.
Class started soon after so I put my phone away imagining what unhinged things Principe’s fans would say about my comment. The professor started talking about her personal life before properly starting class. I both loved and hated it because it took away my time but at the same time she’d overshare about the most random things such as how she’s divorcing her husband because she found him cheating on her. It was fun from time to time but it still didn’t take off the weight of the class being mandatory. Having to stick around on campus after class for the weekly meetings didn’t help either but I guess I did it out of love. It was part of my weekly routine now.
After class I went to the library to sit alone again until it was time for the meeting. I remember I’m going to see Jeremiah today and I feel this weird pit on my stomach I can’t explain. It wasn’t acid reflux or anything, it just felt odd when I remembered I was going to see him. Probably just me being nervous about seeing my boyfriend which I think is normal especially since we got together recently. Only two months ago to be exact. He was also the first boyfriend I’ve ever had which I know plays a role in making me anxious around him. I decided to just read a book on my phone about a woman that lures evil men into her haunted house to kill them as I waited. I couldn’t help but think about Principe Muerte as I read it but I snapped back into reality when Jeremiah texted me about going to our weekly thing.
“Hey baby,” my boyfriend said as he walked up to me so we could walk together to the meeting.
“Hey,” I said and he hugged me, making me jump slightly. I wasn’t used to this sort of closeness yet.
“You ok?” He asked me as he pulled away. I forced a smile.
“Yeah. Just tired I guess.” He tried to go up and kiss me but I turned away.
“We should get going especially since you know I like to help out getting everything together and such,” he said nervously.
“Of course you do. Let’s go.” As we started to walk he reached out and held my hand. I just let him.
“How was class today?”
“Mandatory,” I said and let out a laugh.
“You really don’t like that class don’t you?”
“You’re absolutely right sir,” I joked, though I really didn’t like it.
“I think I saw a video of those haunted house actors you like today. I forgot to send it to you,” he said, making me cringe.
“You mean The Nocturne Guild?”
“Yeah the clown guys with the suits,” he said and I acted offended.
“The clown guys? They’re performers referred to as ‘sliders’ that use those skills to scare people and do cool tricks,” I explained and he giggled.
“Yeah. I know you love all of those things. I’m still…skeptical about it, we could say but I support it.” Jeremiah wasn’t very interested in horror or anything like that. He couldn’t even stand gory movies which means we’ve only gone to the movies once. I have a boyfriend that I can’t even go to the movies with.
“You need to do your research. And FYI, we’re going to see The Nocturne Guild if they ever come here. I mean, I’m already thinking about going out of state to see them,” I said to mess with him. I enjoyed messing with him since we met. It was kinda fun to be honest.
“I know but maybe going out of state is too much,” he said, which I was actually going to disagree on until we got to the building and Greta saw us.
“Oh ehm gee! My parents are here,” she said excitedly as she walked up to us. She did use text acronyms while speaking some times. I hugged her as usual.
“I don’t know about the parent part to be honest but thanks,” I said and Jeremiah laughed.
“What do you mean? You guys are perfect. I want what you two have,” she squealed.
“Thank you very much for your kind words, Greta,” my boyfriend said.
“Always. It’s so great to see such an ideal man form such a beautiful relationship after knowing you for so many years,” Greta said referring to the fact that they go to the same church where his father is actually one of the pastors as well.
“Thanks. We should probably head in now to get everything ready,” he said, finally ending the conversation and letting go of my hand. He opened the door for me and I went in. It was way quieter than usual as only four of the staff members were there and like four students. Jeremiah went up to them and started a conversation which Greta joined in. I followed them but I felt as if I didn’t have anything to contribute and they didn’t really ask me any questions or say anything to me. I just sat down and went on my phone again to text Mia.
Madeleine: miss you.
Mia: we just saw each other this morning and you’re going to see me in like two hours
Madeleine: i still miss you </3
Mia: then come home
Madeleine: i can’t do that yet
Mia: we could make some cinnamon rolls and watch a scary movie to get in the Halloween spirit…
Madeleine: another day. i’m sorry
After texting Mia more people started coming in. I said hi to a few people and had small talk with a few but almost everyone was coming in groups and just sitting with whoever they came with. I stayed with Greta and Jeremiah the whole time and sat with them when the meeting was going to start. I sat in a corner with Greta by my side and he sat in front of us with his friend that I didn’t like.
About forty minutes in I felt my phone vibrate so I checked it thinking it was Mia or somebody else I knew but it was actually a notification about the comment I’d posted earlier. I had gotten a new response but this time it was from Principe Muerte himself.
pr1nc1pemuerte: @mads.is.glad is this an invitation?
The rush of adrenaline I got was inexplicable. My dopamine was through the roof at that moment. After months of watching him, being active, and leaving comments he finally interacted with me. It was a dream come true. He knew about me. Not too long after I got another notification that he requested to follow me. I wanted to scream and jump but I couldn’t because it wouldn't be very appropriate to do here but I was totally losing it. That’s when it hit me. Would it be bad if I accepted his follow request since I’m currently dating someone? Part of me wanted to play along and tell him it really was an invitation but I couldn’t think straight because I was supposed to be listening to a testimony with my boyfriend right now. It wasn’t a proper thing to do so I just put my phone away until I went to my apartment.
After the people finished their testimony and the sermon was over I was mostly quiet only giving brief answers to the questions shown on the screen. Greta and Jermiah chatted away by themselves as well as with other people. I texted Mia as they did their thing.
Madeleine: principe noticed me and i’m flipping out but i can’t leave
She took a while to respond but she finally responded.
Mia: what??? like how???
Madeleine: long story but i’ll tell you when I get home. i might just leave rn
Mia: is it that serious??
Madeleine: yes it is. i’m still shaking.
Jeremiah finally came up to me as I texted her. First person to check on me.
“You haven’t moved from that chair since we sat there like two hours ago. Are you alright?” I decided to make up a little white lie to go home early.
“Actually, not really. I have acid reflux pain and it’s bothering me a lot.”
“Oh no. I’m so sorry to hear that. Do you want to go home with Mia? I’ll obviously walk you home as always since it’s late either way,” he said and I nodded.
“Yeah I’d love that.”
When I got home I showed Mia everything. My comment, his reply, and the follow request I still hadn’t accepted or denied. She was just as shocked as I was but she was able to think properly which I wasn’t able to.
“I mean, this is a big deal. He’s probably just giving you the same energy and I think that this could be very useful for you since we want to work in media. You should accept his request and start making connections, girl,” she advised me and I finally accepted the request before getting ready for bed. I felt less ecstatic now and somewhat tired so I just showered, brushed my teeth, and then brushed my hair before getting into bed. As I brushed it I checked my brush and there was a huge clump of hair on it. I removed it from the brush and kept brushing my hair but the same thing happened again. This was happening often so I ignored it and just went to bed.
~
I woke up with a sharp pain in my jaw that was completely unbearable. I tried opening and closing my mouth but it didn’t make a difference. I wanted to get up and get me some pain meds but even getting up seemed like a hassle. I just laid there rubbing the sides of my jaw to get some relief. I didn’t check my phone or anything. I just stayed there in bed as a few tears rolled down my face. I couldn’t help but let out a cry due to the pain which made Mia aware something was wrong. She knocked on my door before speaking.
“Is something wrong?” She asked. I sobbed before speaking.
“I’m in a lot of pain right now. Can you come in and get me some pain meds from my dresser?”
“Yes. Yes I can do that,” she said and came into my room. It was then I realized my room had seen better days. It was starting to get messy but right now I was in too much pain to even care. She gave me the meds with a water bottle and sat next to me.
“Thanks,” I said before taking them.
“I probably should stay here with you if you’re ok with that.” I was more than ok with that.
“I’d love that but what about school?”
“You feel bad, Mads.”
“But you don’t,” I said as I laid down again.
“You shouldn’t be alone in the current state you’re in. One day won’t hurt us, you know?” I laughed as I could and I told her she could lay in bed with me. The pain slightly went away and I was able to fall asleep again.
We woke up to the sound of multiple notifications going off on my phone. They were like ten back to back notifications.
“Who is that?” Mia asked, still half asleep.
“I don’t know. People from school maybe,” I said before checking and finding Jeremiah had sent me like five texts. Between all those texts I saw a direct message notification from Principe which I immediately checked.
“Mia, Principe messaged me,” I said and tapped on her shoulder so she’d be fully awake.
“For real?” She asked excitedly.
“Yes. For real.” We looked at the message together.
pr1nc1pemuerte: I see you’re interested because you accepted my request. Am I correct?
“How do I respond to this? What should I say?” I asked Mia as I kept staring at the message.
“Well, are you interested?” She asked me back.
“Interested in what?”
“I don’t know what he wants to know if you're interested in or not. Ask him.” I started writing him back.
mad.is.glad: interested in what?
He quickly started typing, making my heart race.
pr1nc1pemuerte: Me going to your boyfriend’s family event. Would you like that? I’d love to go with the rest of the guys.
“How does he know about that?” Mia asked me. I guess he checked my profile well.
“My profile I guess. I…don’t know about this though.”
“Girl, what do you want? This could help his family out with their church stuff and you get to see them perform. Everybody wins,” she said which made sense. This wasn’t just about me and it would only be one night. Only a show and then he’ll just be a guy I watch on the internet again.
“You’re right. I’m going to tell him I’m interested.”
mad.is.glad: alright. i’m in but how’d that work and why do you want to come?
pr1nc1pemuerte: I just want to help out to thank you for your support. All I need is for you to talk to him or the ministry staff and give them our info. We’re open to do it completely free if needed.
“Damn,” Mia said before I could even say anything.
“This is insane.”
“It sure is,” she replied and we stayed silent briefly.
“I guess I’ll do it,” I said and I did just that.
~
The days passed slowly as I waited for it to be Wednesday to tell Rosa, my favorite staff member, about hiring The Nocturne Guild for the Halloween party. I was busy both literally and mentally. Literally because all the school assignments started coming in and they all consist of writing a lot or filming. When I wasn’t doing school work I’d watch Principe’s videos which now felt as if he was taunting me in each post. Every caption was about him “getting ready to steal her and take her away” which is an obvious reference to me. He made sure to have his whole face, covered in his black and white clown makeup, in full view in all of the videos. He even unbuttoned four of his shirts buttons to expose part of his chest in one of them. The fans knew it was about me since he replied to my comment therefore I think it’s mostly just publicity instead of an actual desire to be in a relationship with me. Guys loved to lie to me making it very likely he doesn’t mean anything he says. He also knows I’m taken.
The day finally came and it was time for our meeting. I did my routine. Jeremiah walked me to the meeting, Greta chatted with us excessively, and then I was free to go around and speak to Rosa. We hugged as usual and then I started asking basic questions like how are you until I finally said it.
“Are you familiar with The Nocturne Guild?” I asked and I played with the bracelets I was wearing.
“A little bit. Jeremiah has told me you like them a lot though. They’re performers, right?” I smiled at her. That’s kinda cute on his part.
“Yes. They’re scare actors that mostly do so-called ‘slider’ stunts while wearing mysterious eerie makeup. They’ve done lots of different shows in all sorts of events like on college campuses and stuff.” She definitely has to take the hint.
“Really? I’ll have to look them up,” she told me but I immediately pulled out my phone to show her a video from one of their shows.
“You can get an idea of their work by watching this,” I said as we watched it together. I couldn’t help but smile as I bit my bottom lip when Principe Muerte did a stunt. He’s a true entertainer.
“Wow, they’re good,” she said and I was still smiling.
“You should tell the rest of the staff here and at church so they can perform at the Halloween party you’re going to have,” I finally said it but she looked skeptical.
“I don’t know if we could afford them, though.” Surprise surprise.
“Actually, one of them contacted me because they were interested in going. They’re open to even doing it for free,” I said and she raised her eyebrows.
“Really? Are you serious?”
“Yes. I’m very serious. Just ask Jeremiah if you want.” I thought of showing her my messages with Principe but I couldn’t risk her finding his profile as in contrast to my boyfriend she’s on social media. The whole comment thing and his last posts will just cause unnecessary drama here and can even ruin their opportunity to perform at the party.
“I will tell them and do everything I can to make it happen so you can finally see them in person.” I stayed calm but I really wanted to scream ‘yes’ and jump like a little kid. I told Principe that same night and a few days later their performance was confirmed. Let the show begin I guess.
~
When the day of the party came Greta came over to my place to get ready with us as Mia was also coming. This was the first time they’ve ever properly hung out.
“So like, did you guys meet at church?” Greta asked us.
“No. Not at all. I don’t go to church and Mads just started going when her boyfriend took her to the ministry thing,” she blurted out, making me blush. For some reason I felt sort of bad about people finding out I wasn’t a regular church member before meeting Jeremiah.
“We met because we liked the same content creator,” I said before Greta made any comments about what Mia said.
“Was it the Muerte guy?” Greta asked.
“No but he’s pretty cool too. It was a different one though that focused on emo music and stuff like that,” Mia explained and looked at me somewhat apologetic.
“Cool,” Greta said and continued putting on her makeup. She was dressed up as a witch and she was adding some green makeup to her face. Mia was dressed as a vampire and was adding fake blood on the sides of her mouth to finish the look. I was matching with her wearing another vampire costume except my dress was short and I wore some black tights underneath with my black boots.
“Girl you look so hot,” Mia told me while Greta kept fixing her look.
“Thank you. You’re also looking good tonight.” She got closer to me to whisper in my ear.
“But you look super hot for Principe,” she whispered and giggled, reminding me we’re about to be sharing the same space in less than an hour. It was a big venue but just knowing it gave me some sort of rush I couldn’t explain.
“He will definitely look hot tonight,” I said and Greta finally interrupted us.
“Jeremiah?” Greta asked us. I bit my lip before answering.
“Yeah,” I said even though he wasn’t my main focus tonight even though he’s taking us to the party.
“That’s kind of inappropriate to say,” Greta added. Morals again. Thankfully he arrived at that exact moment.
Jeremiah was in the driver’s seat with Greta beside him while I sat in the back with Mia since I didn’t want to make her seat with a girl she basically just met. That’s when I got a message.
pr1nc1pemuerte: I’m ready for tonight. See you later.
*View Attached Image*
When I opened the message I saw a picture of him with his shirt completely open while he had his usual performance makeup on. My heart skipped a beat when I saw the picture but I still looked at it until it was gone. I went on my notes and wrote a message to show Mia so only she could know what happened.
Principe just told me he was ready and “see you later” with a picture of him almost shirtless. This man is crazy.
She looked surprised and took my phone to write something else.
Crazy for you it looks. That’s so hot. Lucky girl.
I took my phone back and I rolled my eyes.
“What? It’s not a bad thing,” she said while keeping her voice quiet. I decided to message him back.
mad.is.glad: not as ready as me.
The adrenaline rush came back as I wrote the message making me more nervous and excited for the night. I didn’t get a reply, only a black heart emoji. I just looked out the window as Greta kept talking to Jeremiah and Mia. Mostly Jeremiah though.
After twenty minutes we got to the venue. Jeremiah was the first to get out to open the door for me to then do the same for Greta and Mia. He was dressed up as a golden retriever wearing an all yellow outfit and some dog ears. We all made our way inside which was a bit loud but bearable and not super crowded.
“This is cooler than I thought,” Mia said as she looked around. I was already trying to spot Principe.
“Thank you, Mia. I’m so happy you joined us,” Jeremiah said to which she gave no reply.
“I think they have some candy over there. I’m going to go get some and then come back,” Greta said and started walking through the crowd. We now had to wait for her so I decided to send another message to Principe to keep up our silly game.
mad.is.glad: this little vampire is waiting for you, prince.
I also sent him a selfie of me wearing my costume like he did earlier. He saw the message and soon started typing.
pr1nc1pemuerte: bite me
Before I could even react to the message Greta came back with her candy. She was already eating some. As we kept walking someone just sped right past us making sparks fly which could only mean one thing; the guys are here and that could’ve easily been Principe.
“Guys, I think that was one of the sliders,” I said and I smiled which Mia did right back.
“I think so too. This is crazy,” Mia said but nothing exciting happened after that.
“I fear this is how you’re going to be this whole night,” my boyfriend said in somewhat of a sarcastic tone but I might’ve just misinterpreted it. Either way his phone started going off with text notification after text notification.
“You should check that, Jere,” Greta told him and he finally checked it. He stayed there just reading whatever it was. It took him a while to finally say something.
“Guys, I need to make a call real quick. It’s my dad with something,” he finally said and Greta looked concerned too.
“Is it about church?” She asked as Mia and I just stared at them.
“Yeah. Sort of.”
“I’ll head out with you just in case I can help out with anything. If that’s alright with Madeleine of course,” Greta said but I had no issue with that.
“That’s all good with me. I have Mia with me so I’m more than fine,” I said and smiled before they excused themselves and left.
“This is a bit TMI but I have to piss so bad right now. I’m going to look for a bathroom because I need it,” Mia told me, making me laugh.
“No problem. I’ll go with you.”
“Of course you are. We’re Principe hunting. He’s taking you away tonight,” she teased as we walked searching for the bathroom. I laughed.
“I wish. I’m fine with just seeing him though.” She smiled.
“Oh my God, Mads. That’s so freaky, girl. Didn’t think you were such a freak,” she said and I blushed though no one could notice because of the lighting. We eventually found the bathroom which was close to the center of the venue.
“Alright, go piss, girl. I’ll wait here,” I told her and stood close to the bathroom. She thanked me and went in. That’s when it happened.
I noticed some people in the crowd yelping and screaming randomly. Before I could figure out what was going on, a dark shadow-like figure slid in my direction. Sparks flew, making my heart race which only got more intense when he stood up. The tall figure in front of me was Principe Muerte. He was wearing the same shirt he had unbuttoned on the picture he sent me earlier except he was now wearing a vest on top.
“Found you,” he said, making my knees feel weak. I was struggling to speak which was frustrating.
“You…you’re…Principe,” I barely got out. He just smiled making his makeup enhanced smile more eerie looking but my crazy self liked that even more.
“Struggling to speak? That’s alright,” he said and then got closer. “I just want you to bite me, Madeleine.” I couldn’t stop looking at his eyes and his lips before repeating. I just wanted to take in his whole face.
“Mads, I’m back,” Mia said and walked over to me before realizing what was happening. She quickly covered her mouth in shock and Principe turned to look at her. I didn’t know what to say or do.
“Yeah. He’s just here doing um,” I struggled to say, making him laugh which was also very attractive.
“I like how nervous I make you. My favorite part of the job,” he said as he turned to look at me again.
“Mads, I think I’m going back to where we were when Jeremiah had his call thing.” Principe turned to look at her again before facing me again.
“I’ll leave you girls to do your thing now. I bet you’re going to the show, right?” He said and I nodded.
“Yes we are,” I said shyly.
“Come meet me at the back of the venue after the show,” he said and winked at me before leaving. Mia was still in shock and smiling. I think I was too.
“That felt like a movie scene. What was that?”
“He just came up to me. I don’t know if I’ll meet him after the show.” She looked at me as if I was crazy.
“You have to. I’ll take care of Greta and the germ.”
“The germ?”
“Yeah. Jeremiah,” she said and I laughed as I tried to calm myself down. I still felt giddy which made me realize how much I missed this feeling. That’s when I got a message from a former classmate. I checked it and it looked like it was an article about Jeremiah’s family getting investigated for possibly being involved in various forms of white collar crimes. I was put off but at the same time they found us.
“Hey there. I missed you,” he said and I forced a smile. I actually did that until The Nocturne Guild’s show.
We were one of the first people to go to the stage meaning we were at a very close range of it. We talked about random things but I checked my phone frequently to try to read the article and see if Principe messages me. I hated how this news article was ruining my moment of seeing the guys perform in person. I read more and it seemed as if his family as well as the church were involved in money laundering and other forms of fraud to live a lavish lifestyle. After reading that I put my phone away and looked at the empty stage. The show was about to start.
The crowd cheered as the guys came on stage and I was one of them. Principe quickly noticed me in the crowd and gave me a wicked grin before they started to do their tricks. That silly little grin made me forget about Jeremiah’s issues even if it was just for a little bit. I watched them so attentively but I was obviously paying extra attention to Principe Muerte. He would occasionally look at me and smile when possible throughout the performance making me nervous about meeting up with him later. He made every movement and trick look so easy even though it wasn’t. That’s when it hit me that this was almost over because this was only a one time thing. That made me uneasy again.
When the show was over it was a pain to leave the stage area since we were all the way in the front.
“Come on people,” I said, almost whining. Jeremiah put his arm around my shoulders, startling me.
“Stay calm, Mads. You were finally able to see the show,” he told me as we walked through the crowd. We were starting to move a bit quicker and we were getting closer to where we were earlier. That’s when Mia tripped over somehow and she cried out.
“My foot hurts. I think I twisted something,” she said as she laid on the floor rubbing it. I immediately got down to check which is when she winked at me.
“Are you alright?” I asked and that’s when she mouthed the word ‘go’ before sneakily giving me her purse. She was covering up for me to go see Principe. Greta and Jeremiah came to check her too. I hid her purse before they got close.
“I’m just in pain because I think I just twisted my foot. I have pain meds with me but I can’t find my purse. It might’ve left it in the bathroom by accident. Could you get it for me, Mads?” She said as she kept rubbing her foot.
“Yes I can. Can you guys stay with her while I get her purse?” I said which they luckily agreed to.
To be continued…
Unfortunately, they’re not going to face any legal consequences for their actions and that’s why I need you.
